Liz Ashall-Payne is a prominent leader in digital health, recognised internationally for her extensive contributions across policy, industry, academia, and innovation. With a clinical background as a trained NHS professional, Liz has dedicated her career to harnessing digital technology to improve health outcomes and system efficiency on a global scale.
She holds several influential positions, including Board Member at Tech UK and member of its Health and Social Care Council, where she helps shape national digital health policy. As an NHS England NIA Alumni Fellow and a Coach for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, Liz supports the next generation of innovators driving change in the healthcare sector.
In academia, Liz serves as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and an Honorary Researcher at the University of Warwick, contributing to research and education in digital health. She is also a trusted Ambassador for the UK Department for Business and Trade, representing British innovation on the global stage, and was recently appointed Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Plymouth, advising on digital innovation and enterprise.
