Biography
Marco Marchetti has graduated in medicine at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome) and postgraduate both in Hygiene and Public Health and Legal Medicine.
Since November 28th 2023 he is Co-chair of the Member State Coordination Group on Health Technology Assessment (HTACG).
Since April 2021 up to now he is the Director of the HTA Department of the National Agency for Regional Health Care Services. Since January 2017 up to February 2022 he has been the Director of the National Center for the 'Health Technology Assessment of the Italian National Institute for Health. He has been Director of Health Technology Assessment and Innovation Unit until from January 2001 to December 2016 of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario “Agostino Gemelli”, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
