Webinar #7 – LuxProvide / Luxinnovation – HPC use and funding opportunities for Health Tech companies


About the Webinar:

 During this webinar, Ralf Hustadt, special advisor at Luxinnovation and lead of the National Competence Centre (NCC) for Supercomputing in Luxembourg will give a short introduction to the NCC and its mission. He will discuss how the NCC provides guidance and support to organizations embarking on their supercomputing journey, and secondly, to ensure equitable access to expertise, advice, and training in these crucial areas. 

Then, Filipe Pais, Chief Customer Officer at LuxProvide, will introduce Luxembourg’s supercomputer Meluxina, describe its potential, in particular through an example of application from the Health sector. He will also present the new funding programs from LuxProvide, dedicated to startups and SMEs. 

Finally, Maximilian Przybyl, Senior Advisor in the Corporate R&D and Innovation Support team of Luxinnovation will present funding opportunities from the Ministry of the Economy for Luxembourg startups, SMEs and large companies to support HPC-related projects. He will also present the main eligibility criteria to the Ministry of the Economy state aids and explain how the team can guide Luxembourgish companies through-out the process of applying for funding.
