If you are a company developing technology for the creative industries, you are at the forefront of the createch movement. By integrating sustainable practices from the outset, you can steer createch towards a greener, more sustainable future. Whether you are an entrepreneur designing new digital tools, a programmer creating interactive experiences, or a designer incorporating tech into products, this upcoming workshop in Luxembourg is for you!
Organised by Luxinnovation’s Creative Industries Cluster, in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Design University for the Creative Arts (UCA), the objective is to give createch stakeholders the resources and tools to assess and grow their sustainability maturity. It is also a perfect platform to explore new ways to improve your product design or service offering taking into account sustainability standards and requirements.
After participating in this workshop, you will:
- Learn to evaluate your current sustainability level using a research-backed assessment tool tailored for your industry.
- Discover the sustainability practices that align with your business goals and how to implement them effectively.
- Network and connect with like-minded professionals and partners from the ecosystem during the break-out session.
- Gain insights into key opportunities that can help you boost your sustainability level.
Research shows that developing an AI model could generate carbon emissions equivalent to driving five cars throughout their lifespans. This underscores the growing imperative for advancements in createch to align with environmental goals. It also highlights the critical need to integrate eco-conscious approaches into technological innovation for creative industries.
The workshop will be co-chaired by the creators of the sustainability assessment tool: Professor Martin Charter, Director of the Centre for Sustainable Design at UCA, and Trevor Davis, Managing Director of Trevor Davis & Associates Ltd. Luxembourg organisations supporting companies with sustainability will also be contributing to the conversation.
Space is limited to 20 attendees. Register early to secure your spot.
