Call for demonstration projects for the production of renewable hydrogen

Webinar I Call for demonstration projects for the production of renewable hydrogen

9 December 2024 I 13:00 - 14:30

About this Webinar

This webinar will be held in English.
On the 31st of October 2024, the Ministry of the Economy launched a call for projects to encourage companies to produce renewable hydrogen on the national territory.

This call for projects is part of the government's ambition to support the energy transition and reduce dependence on fossil fuels by promoting sustainable and innovative solutions. Unlike a traditional call for projects, this call for projects does not involve direct competition. However, a ranking of projects is planned, with competitive mechanisms taking effect as soon as the maximum budget is reached.

The webinar will focus on explaining the call in detail and address any potential questions from interested project developers.

The call for projects has a total budget of €110 million and combines two different aids : an operating and an investment aid.

The application period runs from October 31st, 2024 to February 15th, 2025. Luxinnovation is available to support project developers to prepare their forms. The analysis of the applications and the allocation of aid will be carried out by the Ministry of the Economy, with a decision expected, in principle, by May 15th, 2025.
