On 14 November 2023, from 9am to 5:30pm, Luxinnovation will organise a dedicated information day on Eureka, the world’s biggest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation. This event will take place at the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg City.
Established since 1985, Eureka has a strong presence in over 45 nations and is made up of the European Commission, local ministries, and national and regional funding agencies. Luxembourg is represented within the network by the Ministry of the Economy, the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), and Luxinnovation.
Eureka promotes industry-driven research on a global scale by supporting organisations collaborating on international R&D projects. In 2022 alone, it mobilised over €560 million in public and private investments and supported around 284 projects.
This information day will offer participants the chance to learn about the various programmes and initiatives that are coordinated by Eureka, such as Eurostars and other specific cluster calls. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to learn about success stories, participate in engaging panel discussions, meet directly with representatives from public agencies involved in the network, and discuss topics of interest with companies from member states.
Finally, the Eureka info day will be the opportunity to find potential project partners from abroad thanks to the B2B Matchmaking session organised with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network: During 20mn- pre-arranged meetings, you will be able to meet other participants and create new contacts, with whom you might submit a future international R&D proposal!
